A LOWA apparently reported (via Anne Pellegrini) at Bubbling Ponds yesterday (Page Springs IBA) was not seen this morning.

Among birds that were seen - several Hooded Mergansers (4 seen at one time), Hutton's Vireo, Vermilion Flycatcher (pair) Lesser Scaup (2), blackhawk

1. the LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH was found i think late december
2. it has been missed more than it has been seen over the last month, but has been seen a couple times.

The waterthrush was present and vocal this morning at 0945 at the typical location adjacent to the springsnail enclosure.

A Marsh Wren was also present.
1. the LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH IS still at page springs fish hatchery, go past show pond through the gate to creek go left walk to the stairs down to the bench area he was across the creek in the rocky area.
2. wetlands today had quite a few redheads and pintails.
3. the stock tank west of 89a opposite the entrance to page springs road continues to have mountain & western bluebirds, sage thrashers and other birds.
