Dusky Flycatchers near Elden Spring
I took a dawn walk around Elden Spring today 14 May and was impressed at the number of Dusky Flycatchers present. I could hear at least 3 making their 'whit' call near the trailhead, and tallied a total of at least 8, likely a few more, in a walk of about a mile. I captured some nice vocalizations that included both the 'whit' and 'du-hick' calls, also managed a photo of the same bird:

RE: Dusky Flycatchers near Elden Spring
Dusky's have been unusually numerous in my yard this year. At least a dozen over the last couple of weeks. Numerous Gray's, and very few Hammy's. Do they come later?
