Brown Creepers - Page Spgs
A Brown Creeper on private property in Page Springs yesterday was somewhat unexpected. A Mountain Chickadee also present alluded to montane species wintering at elevations below typical.

Three BRCR at Bubbling Ponds IBA this morning reinforced that notion.

Otherwise about the area, Lucy's Warblers are filtering in and bullfrogs are popping out. Resident breeders like Song Sparrow and Bewick's Wren have commenced singing. Black-hawks were up and displaying well.

I have seen brown creepers there on almost every visit to Page Springs this past winter.

Also, on at least 2 occasions, I heard, but did not see, a mountain chickadee.
