Paradise Spring (SW Base of Elden)
Glo & I spent a few hours this a.m. around Paradise Spring and found it to be pretty birdy in terms of numbers of birds and species. Birds seem to be attracted to that area now due to water flowing out of the Paradise Spring area for a distance of several hundred yards. We saw 5 species of warblers (2 Grace's, 2 Townsend's, 3 Hermit, 1 Black-throated Gray, & 5+ Yellow-rumped), Warbling and Plumbeous Vireos, several Empids (at least 2 of which were "Westerns"), and large numbers of other expected species. The flower show was pretty good, too.
