Amarican Bittern at Sedona Wetlands
This morning a group of birders at the Sedona Wetlands Preserve heard the distinctive call of an American Bittern several times between 0900 and 0930. It seemed to come from the second pond on the end away from the highway. We did not see the bird. We did see a Common Gallinule in pond #2.
