Quail ID North of Parks... bobwhite?
A coworker sent me this pic and a few video clips of a quail he seen while working North of Parks today. My guess is a bobwhite quail but not sure. Would this be a potential transplanted bird? Not sure I've heard of any thing but Gambel's quail in this area. Your thoughts?

RE: Quail ID North of Parks... bobwhite?
I lived on the northern edge of Parks (Keith Drive, bordering Government Prairie) for a few years a decade or so ago, and occasionally would hear Bobwhite calling in the vicinity. I believe someone there was raising them - perhaps this is an escaped (or released) bird from that neighborhood.
