Fwd: PURPLE GALLINULE, WHITE-EYED VIREO Granite Basin Lake
Forwarding from Carl Tomoff on Prescott Rare Birds:

I just returned from Granite Basin where I photographed a PURPLE
GALLINULE. The bird emerged from the marsh at the northeast corner of the
lake and walked across the carpet of floating aquatic plant leaves,
pausing to forage, before returning to cover.

Earlier the White-eyed Vireo sang twice for 20-30 seconds from the willow
grove at the west end of the lake (east of the meadow).

This message with photo may not have been received, so here is another try.
