Greater pewee at Cave Spring
Park at MP 386 and walk upstream. The bird is vociferous so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it if you know the song. Ebird shows GRPE to have been regular here in recent years: 5/19 in 2011; 4/28 - 5/9 in 2013; and 4/13-5/3 in 2014. There is also as sighting from somewhere in Oak Creek Canyon on 6/21 last year.

Thanks John! Ron Auler and I were at that spot around 10:30 this morning and thought we heard a Greater Pewee, but only heard it once and left frustrated.

You just made our day!

Cave Spring was hopping this morning.
