Fwd: Taylor (Navajo Co.) Sandhill Cranes
March 3, 2017
Nick Worth just texted me that he had a flock of 25 SANDHILL CRANES fly over his place in Taylor in central Navajo County. Snowflake-Taylor is between Show Low and Holbrook and in recent years has had small numbers of this species seen during migration at farm fields adjacent to Silver Creek in town. They are still a rarely observed species overall across the northern half of the state, although they may be a more regular occurrence at the scattered agricultural lands in the region.

Just the messenger,

Eric Hough
