Ashurst Lake Common Loon
Ashurst Lake was very active this morning, the highlight being a breeding plumage Common Loon on the exact date I found one last year. Lots of ducks but not the hoped for Red-breasted Merganser.

This time of year, Ashurst is worth checking often.

RE: Ashurst Lake Common Loon
there were 11 RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS at the sedona wetlands this afternoon, and there were a dozen a few days earlier - so maybe headed your way.
