Catbird at Lower Lake Mary Dam
Glo & I were out early this morning doing a survey of the wetland just below Lower Lake Mary Dam as part of the National Marsh Bird Monitoring Program. After the survey was completed, we walked along the top of the dam and got nice looks at a Catbird in the dense oak thicket (brush-sized) that occurs on the northwest face (i.e. downstream side) of the dam.

RE: Catbird at Lower Lake Mary Dam
It was present this morning around 8:00. It didn't vocalize for the first 40 or so minutes we were there but we finally heard it in the junipers on the west side of the marshy area and just north of the stone building. We have several great looks at it.
