Shorebirds south of Flagstaff 9/9
Hi All-
I took a drive down to Mormon/Ashurst lakes yesterday, looking for shorebirds. I found Baird's, least, and western sandpipers at Fulton Pond, and a pair of stilt sandpipers, as well as greater and lesser yellowlegs and Wilson's and red-necked phalaropes at Ashurst, near the south side of the lake. Stilt was a lifer for me!

There were also quite a few warblers on the move.

Happy birding!
