Black-tailed Gnatchatcher - Cornville
A surprise new yard bird today was an apparent family group of Black-tailed Gnatcatchers foraging in my driveway mesquites. Not a common species in the Verde Valley, all my previous records have been in winter, so I'm not quite sure what to make of at least 4 birds in June.

RE: Black-tailed Gnatchatcher - Cornville
thought I had one over here in Lake Montezuma last week too but didn't get a good enough look to feel like reporting it.
