Finally! Some yardbird movement!
Except for a few Hummingbirds (mostly Rufous & Broad-tailed), nuthatches, lesser goldfinch, and chickadees, my yard has been devoid of anything interesting.

I am noticing a few birds showing up the past few days.

On Sunday, I had a female Western Tanager.

This morning, a male Black-headed Grosbeak showed up followed by 3 Band-tailed Pigeons ( I have not had this species in my yard for several years).

I am hoping that this trend continues...I am ready for the fall migration, which is the best time of year for birds in my yard!
