Rosy-finches just over the border in Utah
I just saw this eBird checklist from a couple weeks ago (20 November 2018) of a large mixed flock of Black and Gray-crowned Rosy Finches about 30 miles NW of Page in Utah canyon country: https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S50246089. Coupled with the observation of a lone stray rosy-finch (Black?) southeast of Mormon Lake on 13 November 2018 (https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S49915666), it seems reasonable to be on high alert for these very sporadic visitors to Northern AZ.

Past sightings of rosy-finches have been at the Echo Cliffs near Page, Sunset Crater and up on the SF Peaks. Similar areas like the Vermilion Cliffs, Red Mountain, etc are worth considering.
