Turkey Vultures and Cliff Swallows
A raft of TUVU and CLSW heading north along Oak Cr this afternoon.

Has anyone seen any Lucy's Warblers? I'm wondering if they are held back by the late budding of cottonwoods. And if so, how they know...

I saw 3 singing Lucy's Warblers at Dead Horse State Park in Cottonwood on Saturday. They were FOS for me.

Other FOS that day were Osprey, Broad-tailed Hummingbird (a male buzzed past me), and Plumbeous Vireo.

Also, a Gray Flycatcher, but my understanding is that it has been seen here throughout the winter.

Looks like the migration is getting started!
