Rogers Lake
Brooks Hart and I drove out to Rogers Lake this morning. Purple Martin's have not arrived yet at last year's colony tree just before the arboretum.

The lake has a lot of water on it and there were lots of birds. Ducks by the hundreds, dozens of gulls (Ring-billed, Franklin's, Bonaparte's), 21 Marbled Godwit, 3 American Avocet, Ibis, eagles. It's was very nice.

RE: Rogers Lake
Of note is the fact that today is clocking in as having an exceptionally high number of Marbled Godwits in the Flagstaff area, with observations of this species coming in from several locations:
- Rogers Lake: 21
- Lower Lake Mary: 22-24
- Mormon Lake (NE corner): 88
- Mormon Lake (NW corner): 1 (+9 additional shorebirds that couldn't be ID'd with certainty, but might have been godwits).

Anyone seeing godwits today away from the Flagstaff area?
