sedona wetland's clark's grebes
1. sam hough saw 2 CLARK'S GREBES at the sedona wetlands june 12th. since he checks every day it is likely they showed up that day. pictures are on ebird.
2. they have been seen by many on most days since then and they are still there this morning.
3. everybody that sees them sees them together, as in no more than a couple feet apart on the big pond that is 100 yards by 100 yards.
4. nobody has reported them dancing, and nobody has mentioned a nest, and no young riding on back.
5. as fas as i know there are no nesting records in yavapai, even on willow or watson that are much bigger.
6. so i have no idea what they are doing, but they are here and always together.
