Frozen morning

All of the birdbaths were frozen solid this morning. Lots of activity in our Village of Oak Creek (VOC) yard.
Along with the usual house finches, white-crowned sparrows and juncos, juniper titmouse, scrub jays,
yellow-rumped warblers, we've had regular visits by 2 spotted towhees, ruby-crowned kinglet, male and
female cardinals, white-winged doves, pine siskins (not as many as Rich Armstrong reported, but more
than usual for us), Coopers hawk, and Crissal thrasher.
