This afternoon, 14 Oct 2019, I had a very late male Broad-tailed Hummingbird visit my feeder at Desert View. He must be having quite a journey, as he fed non-stop for quite a while. This is about 2 weeks later than I've ever seen a Broad-tail on the South Rim.
It seems that hummingbirds are easily attracted to the troughs. Did you see that, in my hometown, I also ordered some, and it really attracted birds very well? I enjoyed looking at the pictures and watching the way they ate the small foods in them. This picture is also quite sharp. Hope to see more of your photos
